Cameron Highlands<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Cameron Highlands<\/a> is arguably the most famous highland in West Malaysia. It is home to the Boh Tea Plantation<\/a>, several strawberry farms, a bee farm, and a number resorts. While less famous than the first two, Fraser’s Hill<\/a> is no less impressive and is steeped in history. Because the weather there reminded the British governors of home, many British style homes were built for them to stay whenever they were homesick. As such, bungalows that would not be out of place in the UK dot the landscape. This is the reason some dub Fraser’s Hill ‘Little England’. Aside from that, there are a total of 7 jungle trails for hikers and nature lovers. Two hours of driving will get you to Fraser’s Hill from KL.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bukit Tinggi<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bukit Tinggi<\/a> is another location not too far away from the capital. It features a small resort and what is called a French Village known as Colmar Tropicale or Colmar of the Tropics. The clusters of houses in the village are actually hotel rooms while authentic French restaurants line the streets. At the end of the street you can find a tower, from which you can view the village as a whole.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Kundasang<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Called the New Zealand of Malaysia, Kundasang<\/a> is a must see but it is not just all looks. As this is the most outdoorsy of all the options, you can go paragliding, visit hot springs, and of course, visit the famous Desa Dairy Farm. If outdoor activities are not your forte, you can sip tea at the Tea Garden, defy gravity the Upside Down House, or visit the Kundasang War Memorial.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
