So what\u2019s new with the Jaguar XE?<\/strong><\/p>\n They\u2019ve added new elements to the exterior to make it look more aggressive such as LED headlights with J blade DRLs, aircraft winglet-inspired sculpted surfaces, dark mesh detailing and new 18\u201d wheels. The XE appears to be more low-slung thanks to larger front apertures, graphics and sharper tones. From the rear, there\u2019s a new bumper, slimmer LED lights and a more stylish fascia.<\/p>\n Inside, the make-over is more prevalent with sport seats, a Satin Chrome gearshift paddles and R-Dynamic treadplates; after all this is the higher XE version. They\u2019ve added a new steering, also used in the I-Pace, with illuminated graphics and buttons.<\/p>\n Part of the appeal of Jaguars is the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, featuring duo HD touchscreens, upper 10-inch and lower 5,5-inch displays and a couple of rotary dials. The smartphone pack is one updated feature on the XE alongside the 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display instrument cluster and a wireless device charging pad.<\/p>\n The Jaguar XE continues to use the \u00a0Ingenium P300 engine, paired to an 8-speed auto, \u00a0which produces 300PS of hp at 5,500rpm and 400Nm of torque between 1,500 \u2013 4,500rpm at a top speed of 250km\/h.<\/p>\n What makes the XE refined as ever?<\/strong><\/p>\n The Jaguar XE features a pendulum damper in the torque converter that is extremely effective at absorbing low frequency vibrations, enabling the engine to run at lower speeds without compromising refinement.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In addition, the Jaguar Drive Control allows you to select from Comfort, Eco, Dynamic, Rain, and two other less- important-modes- in-Malaysia, Ice and Snow. Access to the drive modes are via a toggle button located on the center console.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A.I. and Intuitively Jaguar<\/strong><\/p>\n Artificial Intelligence is employed in the 2020 XE. With Smart Settings, the XE can recognize and learn the preferences of drivers and automatically adjust the seating and steering column according to their preferred positions.
