The Honda City, now in its fifth generation, is set to include a City RS version, slated for premiere in quarter four. The Honda City RS is dubbed the City RS intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) in Malaysia is tied to a sporty appeal to entice car buyers of the youth persuasion The RS stands for Road Sailing.<\/p>\n

With the City RS, Honda pulls out\u00a0everything avant-garde to make this the best City ever. First, LED are used for the headlights, DRLs and rearlights. This gives the front a lowered look and the rear lights have a wrap-around effect. The car\u2019s profile is defined by its prominent shoulder line, connecting the front fender to the rear light cluster. \u00a0New side mirrors in black give the profile a two-tone scheme to match the double five-spoke 16-inch wheels. All above features are reserved for the City RS and V variants only.<\/p>\n

The Honda City RS\u2019 interior remains intact from the current generation\u2019s City, with the exception of an electric park brake. This City edition is fitted with a one-touch park brake to make the driver\u2019s life a whole lot easier.<\/p>\n

Apart from the exterior features, the City RS takes up the i-MMD powertrain, globally known as e:HEV. It basically works like a mild-hybrid and is usually reserved for Honda\u2019s larger sedans and SUVs. The i-MMD City RS gives best-in-class torque of 253Nm, equivalent of a 2.5L N\/A engine\u2019s torque. The City\u2019s other engine option is the 1.5l DOHC i-VTEC.<\/p>\n

The new City is first in its segment to come with Honda LaneWatch (RS & V), a camera based safety technology which assist to monitor blind spots. Ohter assist systems and safety features are transferred from the current City line-up.<\/p>\n
